Today

What started as a super fun filled day was quickly tainted by the news of the shooting tragedy at the CT elementary school. I didn't realize the magnitude of the event until we got home this afternoon from our playgroup Christmas party. I just couldn't stop crying. I cannot begin to comprehend the crazy and evil in someone that would do this.  I am so devastated for the families of these children and my heart is filled with sadness. I want to hug my kids and never let go of them! If anything, the events from today are a reminder to cherish every day and moment with your loved ones.

I will still share the photos from today because Leah and her friends had so much fun.
We had our playgroup Christmas pajama party today. We had lots of snacks, playtime and a gift exchange for both the kids and the mommies!
Leah and Carter in their Christmas pjs this morning before the party!

Snack time!
Lyla, Myles, Greyson! Pretty soon Carter will be big enough to play with his baby friends!
Project time! They were supposed to paint the frosting on the ice cream cones and use m&ms to decorate and make it look like a Christmas tree. Well Leah used her spoon to eat the frosting while taking bites of the cone and then finishing it all off with a few handfuls of m&ms, HA!

All the kids with their presents!
Opening her gift, lots of fun Hello Kitty things!
Ashlyn and Leah being silly in the play tent!
A fun morning with my kids and friends.
