Leah's First Haircut!

This morning we took Leah for her very first haircut! I was sad at first to cut off her baby hair on the ends!  But it was getting pretty long and hard to brush.  We decided to take her to a cute place at the mall that is just for kids and they make a big deal of the first haircut.  We met up with Grammy and made a fun day of it! We weren't sure how Leah would do sitting still and everything but she did SO good and had fun feeling special!

They did a pretty braid and Leah got to pick a barrette. She chose a pink one of course!

Then she got to spin the prize machine and got a toy duck!
The salon took a before and after picture and put some of her hair in a bag for her baby book
Grammy got Leah a mini pink cupcake at the place next door for being such a good girl!

After her haircut she played on the indoor play structure for a little while and then we walked around the mall and went to lunch.
Super fun day for all of us!

    Aw she looks great! Is that salon especially for kids? Seems like they did a really great job making it a fun experience for her!

    So fun! Her hair looks so cute and I'm glad that she enjoyed her first hair cut. Such a special event! It was great seeing you guys so much over the past week, have a fabulous Turkey Day!
