For the last few days, Leah has been obsessed with playing with this block set that she got for her birthday.
This isn't the exact one but very similar -
This is the first time EVER that she has gone into her room and sat down to play with something for longer than a minute or so. She is fascinated by fitting the blocks around the little posts.
Sometimes she is in deep concentration, and other times she gets excited and claps for herself and says "Yay!" when she gets one on.
I recommend this toy for other kids her age. Another bonus - no annoying music, voices, or sounds :-)
I heard if your child likes playing with blocks and is good with that space and fitting things together type stuff she could be a dentist or dental hygienist some day......I guess we will find out if its true in 17 years or so :)
