Concert at the Park

OK so after my last boohoo post about it not feeling like summer, etc........We just had SUCH a fun evening! The weather cooperated and didn't rain! There is a park close to our place that does a summer concert at the park series every Wednesday night and tonight was the first one.  Since the park is within walking distance, we loaded up the stroller, stopped at Subway for some sandwiches, and headed to the park!  I think this was the first real picnic we have done with Leah!  We ate dinner, she played on the playground, and then, like always, Leah stole the show and danced up a storm and had the musicians giving her shout outs!!

I took a LOT of pictures! My inner wannabe photographer that only has a hundred dollar camera :) loves taking pictures of my little lady! :)

Leah got her own kids turkey sandwich kids meal, but mostly ate the olives and apple slices :)

So excited to not be strapped down while she ate!

We are definitely going to go to these concerts every week!  (Let's cross our fingers that the weather stays nice!)

    It's great that there was no rain to... well, rain down on the fun. It's relaxing to get a bit of R&R done in the park. You can also go to a place where concerts are played regularly - that would be even better. Here's to hoping the weather stays well so that everything will be groovy!
